About Us

Sunnydoll Japanese is a popular Japanese restaurant dedicated to serving fresh, high-quality, and authentic Japanese cuisine. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Sushi Chef to join our energetic kitchen team!

Key Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of high-quality sushi, including Nigiri, Sashimi, and specialty rolls.
Handle fish cutting, fillet preparation, and rice preparation with precision and consistency.
Maintain strict standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation.
Manage inventory, portion control, and minimize food waste.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure prompt and efficient service during peak hours.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a Japanese restaurant.
Strong knowledge of fish handling, sushi rice preparation, and knife skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a team player.
Valid work rights in Australia.
