CBRE is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join our IFM Investors account team in Brisbane. Based out of our Mango Hill office, this hub based role offers hands-on exposure across a diverse portfolio of retail, industrial and commercial assets, with the chance to learn from highly experienced FM professionals while building strong foundations for a long-term property career.
This is a genuine learning role, well suited to someone with FM, property or trade experience looking to step up, as well as those bringing strong transferable skills from adjacent industries such as hospitality operations, customer-facing trades, retail operations or building services.
You'll build broad FM exposure quickly through variety, mentorship and a structured development pathway, including quarterly travel to assets in Far North Queensland.
In this role, you will:
Support the day-to-day operations of retail, industrial and commercial properties across the IFM Investors QLD portfolio
Coordinate planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities and conduct site inspections including quarterly visits to FNQ assets
Assist with compliance reporting and organise contractor access
Process purchase orders, invoices and vendor documentation and maintain asset registers
Build strong working relationships with tenants, contractors, clients and building users
About You
Some experience in facilities, property, building operations or a trade is ideal, however we are equally open to candidates bringing strong transferable skills from a customer focused, operational or services background such as hospitality operations, retail, customer-facing trades or building services
An interest in property and a genuine willingness to learn and develop
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites
Some exposure to building services, contractor coordination or compliance is beneficial but not essential
