Located in B22, you'll become an important part of the ward team, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the unit and supporting clinicians to deliver exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing
As a Ward Clerk, you'll provide essential administrative and customer service support to nurses, medical staff and allied health professionals. Working under the direction of the Nurse/Unit Manager, you'll use your initiative and organisational skills to keep ward operations running efficiently.

Provide professional, compassionate customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
Deliver accurate ward administration, including patient data entry, records management and maintaining inpatient files.
Support patient flow and ward operations through timely processing of documentation and information.
Coordinate the safe storage and return of patient belongings, clothing, files and ward resources.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to respond to competing priorities and resolve day-to-day administrative challenges.
