What you will do

As meeting coordinator, you will support the adult parole board by preparing cases and helping manage board decisions.

You will play a key role in keeping board operations accurate, timely and well organised.

You will:

prepare and present cases for consideration by the board
coordinate the timely preparation and finalisation of case materials
respond to complex enquiries from government agencies, prisoners and members of the public
support continuous improvements to systems, processes and operational practices
complete high-quality assurance checks to ensure information is accurate and ready for distribution.

About you

A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.

Knowledge of the Corrections Act 1986, the Sentencing Act 1991 and parole board operations would be an advantage.

You should also have:

strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
the ability to communicate with clarity and adapt your approach to different audiences
strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive working relationships
a commitment to continuous improvement, inclusion and delivering accurate work.
