What you'll be doing
As a Registered Midwife, you will provide high-quality, individualised, person-centred care that promotes the best possible outcomes for women, babies and their families. You'll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, responding to changing clinical needs while supporting safe, compassionate and evidence-based maternity care.

Deliver safe, high-quality midwifery care tailored to the individual needs of women and their families.

Assess, monitor and respond to changing clinical situations while advocating for patients and coordinating appropriate referrals.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive health outcomes across the continuum of care.

Supervise, mentor and support students and other staff, fostering a positive learning environment.

Manage resources effectively while maintaining professional, ethical and culturally respectful practice in a busy clinical setting.

Essential Criteria:

Registration: Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife

Selection Criteria:

1. Previous relevant clinical experience in speciality.

3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.

4. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

5. Commitment to continuing professional development.

6. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team.
