What you'll be doing
As a Registered Midwife, you will provide high-quality, individualised, person-centred care that promotes the best possible outcomes for women, babies and their families. You'll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, responding to changing clinical needs while supporting safe, compassionate and evidence-based maternity care.
- Deliver safe, high-quality midwifery care tailored to the individual needs of women and their families.
- Assess, monitor and respond to changing clinical situations while advocating for patients and coordinating appropriate referrals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive health outcomes across the continuum of care.
- Supervise, mentor and support students and other staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Manage resources effectively while maintaining professional, ethical and culturally respectful practice in a busy clinical setting.

Registration: Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
Selection Criteria:
1. Previous relevant clinical experience in speciality.
2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.
4. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
5. Commitment to continuing professional development.
6. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team.
