Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Support Technician specializing in Medical Equipment to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline problem solver, ensuring that complex medical devices operate seamlessly to support patient care. Your expertise will help healthcare providers deliver accurate diagnoses and effective treatments by maintaining and troubleshooting vital medical equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, impactful environment, where your technical skills directly contribute to improving health outcomes.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to medical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime for critical devices
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of medical systems to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency
Use schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot hardware and electrical problems accurately
Conduct inspections of mechanical components and replace worn or damaged parts using hand tools and mechanical knowledge
Manage computer networking aspects of medical devices, including connectivity and data transfer issues
Assist with installation, setup, and testing of new medical equipment in clinical settings
Document all service activities thoroughly, including repairs, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting steps for future reference

Strong understanding of computer hardware, networking principles, and low voltage electrical systems
Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools for repairs and adjustments
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals effectively
Knowledge of maintenance procedures for complex medical devices and electronic systems
Familiarity with computer networking concepts relevant to medical equipment connectivity
Mechanical knowledge related to device assembly, disassembly, and component replacement
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precise diagnostics and effective solutions
