Lydian Australia is part of Lydian Group (www.lydiangbs.com), a SAP partner company with development centre in India and offices in UK, USA and the Philippines.

Lydian Australia specializes in supply chain applications of SAP such as SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), S/4HANA Supply Chain, Manufacturing and emerging AI-enabled supply chain solutions.

As we expand our market presence across Australia, New Zealand and Asia—with a particular focus on the Philippines—we are seeking an experienced freelance B2B Marketing & Growth Manager to help shape and execute our marketing and market-development initiatives.

The Engagement

This is a freelance/independent contractor engagement, requiring approximately 1–2 days per week.

We are looking for an experienced B2B marketing professional who can work independently with Lydian's leadership to develop and execute practical marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand, build market engagement and contribute to new business opportunities.

The engagement combines B2B marketing strategy, thought leadership, digital marketing, webinars, partner marketing and lead generation.

You will also coordinate with relevant internal and external resources supporting Lydian's marketing initiatives, ensuring that market insights, content and strategic recommendations are converted into practical campaigns and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities, Marketing Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute a focused B2B marketing strategy for ANZ and selected Asian markets.
Translate Lydian's business objectives and specialist capabilities into practical marketing initiatives.
Coordinate internal and external resources contributing to marketing research, content and campaigns.
Develop and maintain an actionable marketing roadmap and campaign calendar.
Establish meaningful KPIs and regularly review marketing performance.

Thought Leadership & LinkedIn

Strengthen and manage Lydian Australia's LinkedIn presence.
Develop and maintain a structured content calendar.
Convert Lydian's SAP and supply chain expertise into compelling executive-level content.
Coordinate, publish and monitor LinkedIn posts and articles.
Build engagement with CIOs, Supply Chain executives, SAP leaders and digital transformation decision-makers.
Monitor performance and optimise content based on engagement and lead-generation results.

SAP Webinars & Digital Events

Develop and manage a regular webinar program around relevant SAP and supply chain topics, potentially including:

SAP IBP and Advanced Supply Chain Planning
SAP ERP
Supply Chain Optimisation
AI and Agentic AI for Supply Chain

Responsibilities will include topic planning, promotion, registration campaigns, speaker coordination, webinar execution and post-event engagement.

Philippines & other Asian Market Development

Coordinate joint marketing initiatives with Lydian's business partners in the Philippines and other selected markets.
Develop joint webinars, campaigns, events and thought-leadership initiatives.
Research target organisations, industries and relevant decision-makers.
Adapt marketing campaigns and messaging for local markets.
Help strengthen Lydian's visibility and positioning in the Philippines and broader Asian market.

Lead Generation & Market Engagement

Marketing at Lydian is expected to contribute to business development, not simply generate impressions.

You will:

Identify target organisations and relevant decision-makers.
Develop targeted LinkedIn and email outreach initiatives.
Build, segment and nurture prospect lists.
Monitor engagement with Lydian's content, campaigns and webinars.
Identify organisations demonstrating potential interest in Lydian's capabilities.
Help convert marketing engagement into qualified conversations and meetings for Lydian's business development team.
Track marketing-generated leads and opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced independent marketing professional who can think strategically while remaining hands-on with execution.

Ideally, you will have:

3+ years' experience in B2B marketing, growth marketing, demand generation or a related field.
Experience working as a freelancer, independent consultant or fractional marketing professional.
Experience marketing technology, IT consulting, professional services, SaaS or enterprise solutions.
Strong understanding of LinkedIn-based B2B marketing.
Experience developing and running webinars and digital campaigns.
Familiarity with lead-generation, CRM and marketing automation tools.
Strong written communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to operate independently and manage multiple marketing initiatives.
A commercially focused approach to marketing and lead generation.

Experience with SAP, enterprise technology, supply chain solutions or digital transformation would be highly regarded but is not essential.

Experience or market knowledge relating to the Philippines or broader Asian B2B technology sector would also be advantageous.

Engagement Structure

Independent contractor / freelance engagement
Approximately 1–2 days per week
Flexible working arrangements
Predominantly remote
Melbourne-based candidates preferred, although applications from elsewhere in Australia are welcome
Initial engagement with the opportunity to continue based on mutual fit and business requirements

The successful contractor will be expected to manage their own working arrangements and provide services independently while coordinating agreed deliverables and priorities with Lydian leadership.

Over the first six months, we would like to establish:

A clear and actionable marketing strategy for ANZ and selected Asian markets.
A consistent Lydian thought-leadership presence.
A structured LinkedIn content and engagement program.
Regular SAP and supply chain webinars.
Effective joint marketing initiatives with our Philippines partners.
Increased engagement with relevant senior decision-makers.
A structured pipeline of target organisations and prospects.
Measurable growth in marketing-generated conversations and qualified business meetings.
