About the role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join the team at Efflog Operations PTY Ltd. This is a full-time position based in Tottenham VIC 3012. As Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising our logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods, and managing teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients. This role is strategically important to our organisation, as it directly impacts our operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.
What you'll be doing
- Planning and coordinating logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
- Managing warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management and dispatch activities
- Overseeing transport and fleet operations to optimise routes and reduce operational costs
- Supervising and mentoring logistics staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Managing supplier and carrier relationships to secure competitive rates and maintain service standards
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company protocols
- Liaising with customers to address logistics queries and resolve issues promptly
- Preparing reports on operational performance and presenting findings to senior management
- Managing budgets and controlling expenses within assigned areas of responsibility
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, ideally in a supervisory or management capacity
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and transport logistics
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work culture
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Proficiency with logistics management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify and implement operational improvements
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to logistics operations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to perform occasional driving duties
