Events Administration Assistant | Casual

Location: Tullamarine, VIC
Hours: 2 days per week, flexible days and hours
Employment: Casual

About Abra Events

Abra Events is an event hire and styling company based in Tullamarine. We’re looking for a motivated, detail focused person to join our team and take care of the behind the scenes administration that keeps our event orders organised and our business running smoothly.

About the Role

This is a varied 2 day per week administration role supporting the day-to-day operations of our business. You’ll be responsible for keeping event orders and client information up to date, managing client communication, making website updates and assisting with general administration.

We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, focused, organised and takes pride in getting the details right. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, managing your time and staying on top of multiple event orders and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Updating and maintaining event orders and ensuring all details are accurate
Managing client emails and general correspondence
Updating and maintaining our website
General office and administration duties
Data entry and keeping client and event records organised
Reception and phone coverage when required
Assisting with client enquiries and day-to-day communication
Ensuring event information is accurate and up to date for the team
Supporting the team with the administration required to successfully deliver exceptional events

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Is highly organised and detail-focused
Has excellent written communication, grammar and punctuation
Is confident communicating with clients professionally
Is self-motivated and able to work independently
Has a positive, can do attitude
Is reliable and takes ownership of their work
Is comfortable learning new systems and software
Has strong computer and administration skills
Enjoys working in a busy, creative environment
Previous administration, reception, events or customer service experience is highly regarded

The Details

2 days per week, with flexibility around which days and hours are worked.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible casual work who enjoys organisation, attention to detail and being part of a creative events business.
