Mountain Creek Wholefoods & Bakery is a locally owned and operated business in Canberra, bringing together quality wholefoods, artisan bakery products and specialty coffee under one roof.

About the role

We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our growing team.

As the face of Mountain Creek, you'll play an important role in creating the warm and community-focused experience we're known for. You'll work alongside a passionate team serving customers, preparing and presenting our products, making coffee, and ensuring every customer leaves with a positive impression.

This is a casual or part-time position with the opportunity for approximately 30+ hours per week for the right person.

What you'll do

Welcome every customer with a warm and genuine smile.
Deliver outstanding customer service.
Prepare and serve coffee, drinks and food.
Process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
Maintain excellent product knowledge and confidently recommend products.
Keep the shop clean, organised and well stocked throughout the day.
Present bakery cabinets and displays to a high standard.
Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures.
Work closely with the team to create a positive customer experience.

What we're looking for

A friendly, positive and approachable personality.
Previous café, bakery or hospitality experience is preferred.
Barista experience is highly regarded.
Excellent customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual and well organised.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and presentation.
A team player who enjoys contributing to a positive workplace culture.
