We are a busy café in Woden seeking an experienced Barista/Café All Rounder. The ideal candidate must be reliable, presentable, energetic and have relevant experience.
Applicants must be able to work in a busy environment and be neat and tidy in appearance. The role will also involve serving customers from counter to table with clearance of tables as required.
Applicants will need the following skills:
· A positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Ability to work together as a team with fellow front and back of house staff
· Time management skills to ensure that all duties are performed in a timely fashion
· Great food handling, preparation and presentation skills
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to multi-task effectively and stay calm in busy or stressful situations
· Well groomed, reliable and trustworthy
· Ability to maintain high food safety, an orderly kitchen environment and hygiene standards
· Plus barista qualifications and a passion for making fantastic coffee
