MW Homes Pty Ltd is a well-established family-run renovation business specialising in high-quality kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovations throughout Melbourne's eastern suburbs. We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

The successful applicant will work on a range of residential renovation projects and will be responsible for:

Performing general domestic carpentry works.
Constructing, modifying and installing timber frameworks, stud walls, doors and other structural components.
Interpreting and working from plans and specifications.
Carrying out demolition and renovation works as required.
Installing cavity sliding doors, wall niches and other custom features.
Re-sheeting rooms and completing finishing and fit-off carpentry works.
Coordinating material orders and collection from suppliers.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with workplace safety requirements.
Liaising professionally with clients, suppliers and other trades.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

A relevant trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent.
At least 2 years' experience in residential carpentry and renovation work.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Current driver's licence.
