We are looking for an industry experienced Carpenter to join our organization.
Crafted Cladding & Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our growing team in Metropolitan Melbourne area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality carpentry work across residential and commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
· Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
· Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials with precision
· Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures including frameworks, walls, floors, doors, windows, and cabinetry
· Install formwork, framing, cladding, decking, and finishing elements as required
· Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
· Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with Australian building codes and safety regulations
· Work collaboratively with site supervisors, trades, and subcontractors to meet project timelines
· Conduct general site duties including setting out, levelling, and basic concreting support where required
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with WHS (Work Health & Safety) requirements
· Identify and report defects, hazards, or material shortages promptly
· Carry out repairs, renovations, and maintenance work across residential and/or commercial sites
· Follow instructions and adapt to changing site conditions and project needs
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of building and safety regulations
- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Physically fit and able to work on active construction sites
- White Card (Construction Induction) required
- Trade qualification in Carpentry (preferred)
