Role Title: Senior Clinical Dietitian
Role Type: Fixed term, Full-time
Department and Location: Allied Health, The Mater hospital, North Sydney
Salary: Based on experience and Statement of Service provided

About The Role:

You will be responsible to develop, implement and review individualised nutrition care plans, including timely follow up assessments and completion of Subjective Global Assessments (SGA) in accordance with organisational policy.
You will work closely with medical, nursing, allied health and food services teams to deliver coordinated patient centred care.
You will identify and document nutrition related co- morbidities including malnutrition to support accurate clinical coding and patient care.
You will join a high performing team and a workplace, with relationships built on mutual trust and respect. We value our staff and offer professional advancement in a respectful, collaborative and learning environment.

About You:

Post graduate qualifications or bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics acceptable to the Dietitians Association of Australia.
At least 3 or more years of clinical dietetic experience.
Clinical management and leadership.
Experience managing patients with enteral feeds and total parenteral nutrition.
Demonstrated experience in the supervision of dietetic students and providing clinical supervision to Level 1/2 Dietitians

About The Mater:

In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital, North Sydney.

One of Sydney’s premier private hospitals.
Close by to train stations at North Sydney, St Leonards, and Crows Nest, and buses on Pacific Highway.
The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
Core specialties include Obstetrics, Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements, bone and sports injuries, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, lung and vascular medicine, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
