The Details:
Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
$80,163 pa + 12% super (level 2)

72.5 hour fortnight
Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
Location: Strathpine

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Business Support Officer and help support the teams that support our community.

As a Business Support office you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively, build strong stakeholder relationships, and deliver exceptional service outcomes.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, assist with customer enquiries, support financial and procurement activities, and help improve business processes and service delivery outcomes.

You will;
assist with the Division’s reporting, budget and procurement processes; liaise with suppliers, obtain quotes, raise purchase orders, and process invoices.
support processes to improve efficiency and service delivery outcomes
contribute to a positive team environment in order to achieve a high performance, continuous improvement and customer focused culture

About you

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient administrative processes, supporting internal stakeholders, and maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture. You will enjoy finding better ways of working and can contribute ideas that improve efficiency, consistency, and the overall effectiveness of business support processes.

You will have;

experience with the preparation of quality correspondence and documentation
sound knowledge of administration practices and procedures
well-developed time management skills to achieve proficiency and effectiveness in managing the workload and priorities, and meeting deadlines.
proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs and the ability to develop proficiency with Council’s corporate systems.

You will have a Certificate II in Business Administration or equivalent experience and current C class licence.
