About the role
As an Administration Officer within the Hospital in the Home (HITH) team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred mental health services across Metro North Health. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to clinicians and the Nurse Unit Manager, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the service. You will be responsible for a broad range of administrative functions including reception and enquiry management, correspondence, meeting coordination, data entry, record management, recruitment administration and onboarding support.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide reception duties including telephone enquiries, face-to-face enquiries, and redirection where appropriate, and taking accurate messages for staff.
Effectively and appropriately use and maintain an up to date working knowledge of all information systems relevant to the position, including: QHEPS, S/4HANA, HBCIS, ieMR, ESM, RiskMan, Winc, and Microsoft Office applications.
Support the Home Team with correspondence management, providing specific and general administrative support within the expected range of responsibility and competence for the position.
Use highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain working relationships with team members, service partners and internal and external stakeholders at all levels to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment and culture.
Liaise with Senior Administration Office Metro North Mental Health RBWH in regard to all issues impacting on work area.
