About your role
As part of the Metro South Public Health Unit (MSPHU) Administrative Team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to a multidisciplinary team while delivering responsive and professional service to customers and staff.
Manage the MSPHU switchboard, responding to enquiries and ensuring information is transferred accurately and efficiently.
Provide a broad range of administrative support, including data entry, database management, reporting, shared inboxes, document preparation, filing and mail.
Support meetings through coordinating attendance, distributing documentation and undertaking minute-taking and other secretarial functions.
Work collaboratively and independently to prioritise tasks, contribute to improved administrative processes and support the day-to-day operations of the Public Health Unit.
About you
We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused administration professional who can work effectively in a busy multidisciplinary environment and deliver accurate, high-quality support.
Bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and provide responsive, professional service.
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality, accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of your work.
Work collaboratively within a team while confidently managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing demands.
Have strong organisational and planning skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to develop knowledge of relevant Queensland Health systems.
