What you'll be doing

The Booking Officer at the Kids Cancer Centre (KCC) supports the coordination of oncology/haematology outpatients’ clinics and patient procedures, ensuring efficient scheduling and smooth clinic operations.

The role delivers high-quality administrative support and exceptional customer service to help provide timely care and a positive experience for patients and their families.

Demonstrated experience in providing high-level administrative support within a healthcare or hospital setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and independently.
Experience using hospital- systems (iPM, eMR) , scheduling, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement to resolve routine issues and improve processes.
Ability to communicate sensitively and professionally when engaging with patients, families, and stakeholders, including those experiencing distress.
