About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our busy Italian restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic, high-quality Italian cuisine, maintaining exceptional food safety standards, and contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

This role is suited to someone who is organized, creative, and experienced in working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.

Skills and Experience

Minimum of one year experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
Must have knowledge in Italian cuisine is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and Italian cooking methods.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food quality

Qualifications

Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery.
Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain if required).
Current work rights in Australia.

Passion for Italian food and hospitality.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
