ORCHID WINE ESTATE PTY LTD is a South Australian wine company dedicated to promoting premium Australian wines to domestic and international markets. We specialise in developing and marketing our own wine brands and marketing customised wine brands for business clients. As our business continues to grow, we are investing in strategic brand development, digital marketing, and market expansion to strengthen our competitive position.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting market research, developing marketing strategies for the company’s own wine brands and customised wine brands for business clients, coordinating marketing campaigns, and driving digital marketing initiatives. Working closely with management, distributors, export partners, and business clients, you will identify new market opportunities, enhance brand awareness, and contribute to increasing the company’s market share in both domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct market research and analyse wine industry trends, consumer preferences, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify market opportunities and support the development of the company’s marketing objectives and strategies.

2. Develop tailored marketing strategies and plans for different sales channels, including export, wholesale distribution, and online retail channels, to support business growth.

3. Provide marketing and promotional support for the company’s own wine brands, as well as customised wine brands developed for business clients.

4. Analyse market performance, consumer behaviour, customer insights, and campaign results to evaluate and optimise marketing plans, and provide recommendations on product positioning, pricing, promotional activities, and distribution channels.

5. Develop marketing campaign ideas and coordinate the implementation of promotional activities, trade exhibitions, wine tasting events, and other brand awareness initiatives to support business growth.

6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer feedback, and campaign performance to evaluate marketing effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.

7. Liaise with distributors, export partners, retailers, and business clients to coordinate marketing activities, promotional campaigns, and market initiatives across domestic and international markets.

8. Develop digital marketing strategies across the company’s website, social media platforms, and other digital channels to strengthen brand visibility, support market expansion, and contribute to increasing the company’s market share.

9. Prepare marketing reports and present market research findings and strategic recommendations to management to support informed decision-making and the continuous improvement of marketing strategies.

About You

l A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.

l At least three years of relevant experience as a Marketing Specialist, Marketing Coordinator, or in a similar marketing role.

l Experience in conducting market research and analysing market trends, consumer behaviour, customer preferences, and competitor activities will be highly regarded.

l Experience in developing and coordinating marketing campaigns, digital marketing activities, social media, or brand promotion is preferred.

l Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple marketing projects and priorities effectively.

l Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare professional marketing reports and strategic recommendations.

l Demonstrated ability to liaise and collaborate with internal teams, distributors, business partners, and external service providers to support marketing initiatives.

l Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying market opportunities and supporting business growth.

l Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are considered an advantage.
