SOPO Group (SOPO Southport & Club Paradise Surfers Paradise)

SOPO is currently seeking experienced Casual Chefs to join our growing kitchen team across our two Gold Coast venues.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced hospitality environment, delivering high-quality food while working alongside a supportive and professional team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Chef and Head Chef, you will be responsible for:

Preparing and cooking high-quality meals in accordance with Club standards.
Confidently running and leading your allocated section during service.
Maintaining consistency, quality and presentation of all dishes.
Assisting with food preparation and stock rotation.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
Complying with all food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure efficient service.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy hospitality venue.
The ability to confidently lead a section with minimal supervision.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Relevant trade qualifications and food safety knowledge.
