Chef (Full-Time) – Woodfired Mediterranean Grill & Café
Woodfired has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team
in Surfers Paradise, Queensland.
About the Role
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in line with restaurant standards.
- Assisting in menu planning, stock control, and ordering supplies.
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with Australian regulations.
- Supervising and training kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation and
service.
- Monitoring portion control and minimising food wastage.
Applicant Requirements
- Hold a relevant formal qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or higher).
- Have at least 2 years of full-time relevant work experience in a commercial kitchen, in
addition to formal qualifications.
- Be an Australian Citizen or hold Australian Permanent Residency.
- Possess strong knowledge of food safety and WHS requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
- Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Remuneration
This is a full-time position with a base salary of $79,000 - $80,000 per annum (exclusive o
superannuation), depending on skills and experience.
