SOPO is currently seeking experienced Casual Chefs to join our growing kitchen team across our two Gold Coast venues.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced hospitality environment, delivering high-quality food while working alongside a supportive and professional team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Chef and Head Chef, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality meals in accordance with Club standards.
- Confidently running and leading your allocated section during service.
- Maintaining consistency, quality and presentation of all dishes.
- Assisting with food preparation and stock rotation.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
- Complying with all food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure efficient service.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy hospitality venue.
- The ability to confidently lead a section with minimal supervision.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Relevant trade qualifications and food safety knowledge.

Pay: $56,836.72 – $80,015.39 per year
