Front Desk Coordinator / Receptionist (Career Progression to Treatment Coordinator)

Location: Five Dock, Sydney
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

We are a modern, patient-focused dental practice looking for a warm, organised and motivated Front Desk Coordinator to become the face of our practice.

This is more than a receptionist role. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career, with structured training and the opportunity to progress into a Treatment Coordinator position, helping patients understand and commence life-changing dental treatment.

If you enjoy working with people, love organisation, and are eager to learn sales, communication and patient care, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities

Greeting patients and creating an exceptional first impression
Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries professionally
Managing appointment scheduling and recalls
Processing payments and health fund claims
Coordinating patient records and maintaining accurate documentation
Liaising with clinicians and the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations
Assisting with administrative and practice management tasks
Helping maintain a welcoming and organised reception environment

As You Grow in the Role

You will receive training to become a Treatment Coordinator, where you’ll learn to:

Build strong relationships with patients
Explain treatment options and answer patient questions
Coordinate appointments for larger treatment plans
Assist patients with finance and payment options
Improve patient experience and treatment acceptance
Work closely with clinicians to help patients achieve excellent outcomes

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Friendly, positive and genuinely enjoys helping people
Well presented with excellent communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident using computers and experienced with D4W
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, proactive and a team player
Eager to learn and develop professionally

Experience

Experience in dental reception is essential.
