About Legal Path Lawyers

Legal Path Lawyers is a growing Melbourne-based law firm providing practical, client-focused legal services across a broad range of areas, including Family Law, Immigration, Conveyancing, Commercial Law, Litigation, Wills & Estates, Fair Work, Traffic & TAC, Liquidation & Bankruptcy and Tribunal Appeals.

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our Melbourne office and play an important role in supporting the continued growth of the firm.

About the Role

As Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the office runs efficiently, professionally and smoothly. You will work closely with the firm’s lawyers and management team and will be a key point of coordination across administration, staff, clients, suppliers and office operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys responsibility, takes initiative and wants to make a genuine impact within a growing legal practice.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the day-to-day operations of the office

* Oversee reception, administration and general office functions

* Coordinate staff schedules, meetings and office requirements

* Manage office supplies, facilities, equipment and external suppliers

* Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff administration

* Support lawyers and legal staff with administrative and operational requirements

* Maintain office policies, procedures and systems

* Assist with compliance, record keeping and document management

* Coordinate client appointments and ensure a professional client experience

* Manage incoming calls, emails and general enquiries when required

* Monitor workflow and identify opportunities to improve office processes

* Liaise with external service providers, IT, accountants and other stakeholders

* Assist management with reporting, operational planning and business improvement

* Help maintain a professional, positive and collaborative workplace culture

About You

We are seeking a confident, professional and proactive individual who can take ownership of office operations.

You will ideally have:

* Previous experience as an Office Manager, Practice Manager, Legal Secretary or Senior Administrator, preferably within a law / migration firm.

* Strong understanding of office administration and business operations

* Excellent organisational and time-management skills

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities

* Excellent client-service and interpersonal skills

* Confidence dealing with staff, clients, suppliers and professional stakeholders

* Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills

* Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player

* A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems

* Professionalism, discretion and an understanding of confidentiality

Legal industry experience will be highly regarded.
