Full Job Description

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

1 People – Productivity and MoraleDesired Outcome: Create and maintain a positive, fair and productive working environment

Maintain a good working knowledge of Snap Fitness Human Resource and WHS policies and procedures.
Ensure that Snap Fitness procedures and processes related to human resource management and WHS are implemented in day to day activities.
Managing staff / PT’s ensuring that work and service outcomes meet job or contract requirements.
Undertake employee and contractor management (personal trainer) activities such as recruitment, induction, regular meetings and ongoing performance assessments.
Proactively address staff or contractor non-performance issues and take steps to drive performance
Coordinate regular team meetings to create a strong and positive culture within the gym
Implement sound leadership techniques to ensure that the working/club environment is inclusive and harnesses the diversity amongst both staff and contractors to bring about club business objectives.
Implement a recognition strategy that recognises and rewards superior performance.
Lead staff and contractors

2. Program – Fitness Offerings Desired Outcome: Increase member satisfaction through fitness offerings

Ensure that core Snap Fitness program offerings are promoted within the Club i.e. Snap App
Coordinate all member inductions, program and training assistance as required.
Maintain a caring environment where members are welcomed, feel physically safe and feel supported in their fitness journey.
Effectively communicate Snap Fitness Policies and Procedures
Ensure PT contractors are actively involved in member engagement andretention activities.

3 Product – Club Operations Desired Outcome: Safe, clean and well managed and maintained clubs

Development and implement an appropriate operational plan to ensure all business performance outcomes for the club are met.
Use of Snap Fitness systems such as Franconnect, PeopleSafe, Two Taps, Glofox, AED Concierge, Digital Stack, and Snap Academy.
Develop and maintain a sound operational knowledge of club security and IT systems including CCTV, Duress Alarms, internet/WIFI systems and be able to progress any issues with the appropriate provider.
Ensure club rosters bring about the service levels required, including all cleaning hours and club floor hours, within budget.
Maintain updated employment and contractor files and ensure copies are forwarded to the relevant area (i.e. payroll office, bookkeeper etc.).
Ensure quality and accuracy is maintained for all documentation prepared by staff members, including: Daily Activity Book, membership documentation, payroll, banking etc.
Ensure club presentation and all operations are compliant with required standards - including cleaning and following cleaning procedures.
Ensure regular maintenance and timely repair of club equipment and facilities is undertaken.
Ensure required/identified WHS risks are managed by maintaining the clubs WHS Risk Register and ensuring all adherence to all WHS policy and procedures.
Ensure behaviour, dress and presentation standards are maintained by all staff and contractors
Maintain networks with other fitness professionals to keep up to date with changes and progress within the industry
Ensure all entitlement documentation is completed and submitted i.e. timesheets, leave applications, etc.
Ensure that the club meets the minimum requirements of any audit process.
Monitor service levels through member and staff feedback, to ensurecustomer needs are met and exceeded
Seek to resolve issues at first point of contact with the view to achieving a win-win outcome.
Escalate membership issues in a timely manner to ensure an appropriateresolution can be achieved.
Design and implement member engagement strategies and activities thatincrease member retention and referral outcomes.

4. Presence – Marketing

Desired Outcome: Increase lead volume through internal & local marketing plans

Plan a creative and inspiring marketing strategy for the following months in line with club targets and hitting all lead generation areas.
Review data around marketing, leads, sales to enable changes to be made
Ensure that all social media marketing is current and relevant in-line withSnap Fitness policy.
Ensure that all material displayed is neat, tidy and is in line with Snap Fitnessspecifications.
Complete weekly sales reports for franchisee/Directors
Complete all marketing for the club ensuring outreach requirements arebeing met weekly.
Proactively keep up to date with, and promote, products and services andinform members of current promotions
Maximise selling opportunities through marketing initiatives and networkingwith local organisations and businesses including liaising with local schools and sporting teams to maximise business exposure

Process – Member and Club Revenue and Net Profit Growth Desired Outcome: Increase membership size and net profit growth

Ensure that current member acquisition and retention campaigns are implemented consistently.
Contribute to budget planning and manage budget parameters to achieve financial outcomes for the club.
Maintain an understanding of profit and loss reporting, how these relate to club operations and the resulting financial outcomes.
Ensure all membership processes and documentation are completed and recorded accurately.
Ensure members are provided with all relevant and required information related to their membership.
Manage and drive member and retail sales for the club
Design and implement strategies to maximise member retention outcomes
Undertake monthly stock counts and ordering of supplies, ensuring PurchaseOrders are placed for all required supplies.
Manage retail stock control for vending machines and Snap merchandise
Ensure all contractor invoicing is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
