About this opportunity:
Join ICC Sydney as an Event Workforce Coordinator on a 12-month fixed term contract, playing a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of world-class events. As the central point of contact for our Event Delivery workforce, you will coordinate rostering, workforce planning and team member scheduling to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will collaborate with a wide range of internal departments and external stakeholders, contributing to exceptional event outcomes while delivering outstanding service to our team members. This role offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement, build strong relationships across the business and make a meaningful impact on the operational success of Australia's premier convention, exhibition and entertainment venue.
This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and customer-focused, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. It offers an opportunity to grow within a high-performing team while supporting effective workforce coordination and great event experiences.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in workforce scheduling, rostering, event coordination, hospitality supervision or a similar role within a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business demands.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using workforce management, rostering or event management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve, maintain confidentiality and use initiative to improve processes and support operational success.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- You must be 18 years or over.
