About the role

We have an opportunity for a Strategic Data Scientist to be part of our Strategic Data Scientist team, People & Capability Command. The Strategic Data Scientist is required to identify, collect and critically analyse information and data to draw meaningful insights that inform the provision of recommendations, intelligence and reports and deliver high quality strategic submissions identifying emerging threats and opportunities in the organisation.

Can you describe a past project where you had to decide between simple and complex machine learning models, and what environment to deploy in? What was the business problem you were trying to solve, what models did you evaluate, and what factors led you to your choice of model and infrastructure?

Target Question 2:

Please describe a time when you implemented a solution based on statistical analysis, forecasting, or machine learning that achieved a significant business outcome. What was your approach and what was the outcome? How did you represent this work to non-technical stakeholders?
