Area Aftersales Manager

Sydney, Zetland - Primarily looking after Western Australia Dealers

Maximum Term Contract (24M)

Please note that due to the maximum term contract nature of this role, successful applicants will be engaged via a Volkswagen Group Australia (VGA) approved agency partner and not via VGA directly. Otherwise you will be working onsite/ hybrid at VGA as per typical working arrangements.

About your new Role

This role will be providing business development support, Aftersales operational support and expertise to the Volkswagen, Skoda and Cupra dealer network within an assigned geographical area. In response to identifying dealer performance issues and opportunities to improve the operational performance, this role will provide remedial and proactive support to all components of the Aftersales business.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Building strong and trusting relationships with stakeholders
Driving business programs and initiatives
Regularly monitoring, assessing, ensuring targets are met/exceeded
Driving customer experience, monitoring and improvement of customer satisfaction and service retention
Proactively seeking high performance in all aftersales metrics and quantitative and qualitative solutions across the dealer network for the successful execution and continual improvement.

About you:

Be able to excel in a corporate environment, through strong stakeholder management, communication, and attention to detail
3+ years’ experience in an Automotive Aftersales capacity or/and have experience of senior account management, business development & consulting
Can do mindset, entrepreneurial thinking, influence outcomes
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence
Team player, Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously
Champion a strong work ethic coupled with sound judgment and customer focus
