About Us
Lagozzino's Top Pub - Tatura Restaurants is a well-established hospitality venue operated by GM MOTELS PTY LTD, offering quality dining experiences with a diverse menu in a welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our professional kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's menu and quality standards.
Assist in planning and developing seasonal menus and daily specials.
Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation to ensure consistency.
Prepare and cook a variety of meals while maintaining high culinary standards.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering food supplies and kitchen ingredients.
Inspect food items to ensure freshness, quality and compliance with food safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations.
Supervise and support junior kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Minimise food wastage and contribute to cost-effective kitchen management.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and food hygiene requirements.
Work collaboratively with management and front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service.

Essential Requirements- Skills and Experience

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
At least one years of relevant full-time work experience as a Chef
Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Excellent organisational, communication and teamwork skills.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
