Lagozzino's Top Pub - Tatura Restaurants is a well-established hospitality venue operated by GM MOTELS PTY LTD, offering quality dining experiences with a diverse menu in a welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our professional kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's menu and quality standards.
- Assist in planning and developing seasonal menus and daily specials.
- Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation to ensure consistency.
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals while maintaining high culinary standards.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering food supplies and kitchen ingredients.
- Inspect food items to ensure freshness, quality and compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Minimise food wastage and contribute to cost-effective kitchen management.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and food hygiene requirements.
- Work collaboratively with management and front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Essential Requirements- Skills and Experience
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
- At least one years of relevant full-time work experience as a Chef
- Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
- Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Excellent organisational, communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
