Full Job Description

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for identifying market opportunities and advising management on the development, coordination and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the company's furniture products and services. The position supports business growth through market analysis, promotional planning and the evaluation of marketing activities while ensuring consistency with the franchisor's branding requirements where applicable.

· Conduct research into local market conditions, customer preferences, competitor activities and emerging market trends to identify business opportunities and provide marketing recommendations to management.

· Develop, coordinate and implement local marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness, customer engagement and showroom traffic.

· Analyse the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns, and provide recommendations to management to improve campaign performance, customer acquisition and return on marketing investment.

· Liaise with the franchisor regarding national marketing campaigns, branding standards and promotional initiatives, and coordinate their implementation at the local business level.

· Coordinate and adapt national marketing campaigns and promotional activities to suit local market conditions and customer demographics while ensuring compliance with the franchisor's branding requirements.

· Provide market intelligence and feedback to management and the franchisor regarding customer behaviour, competitor activities, campaign performance and local business opportunities to support future marketing and promotional initiatives.

· Coordinate with external marketing suppliers, advertising agencies, designers, printers, digital marketing providers and media organisations to ensure the timely delivery of marketing activities and promotional materials.

· Coordinate the preparation, production and distribution of promotional materials, catalogues, digital content and in-store marketing displays, ensuring consistency with the company's and the franchisor's branding standards.

· Monitor competitor pricing, promotional activities and industry developments, and provide recommendations to management regarding local promotional opportunities and marketing initiatives.

· Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organisations, builders, interior designers and other stakeholders to promote the business, strengthen community engagement and expand market opportunities.

· Perform other marketing duties that are reasonable and consistent with the position of Marketing Specialist.

Skills and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or qualification is required.

· At least 1 year of relevant experience is required.

· Strong analytical and communication skills.

· Ability to coordinate multiple marketing projects simultaneously.

· Experience in coordinating both online and offline marketing activities.

· Ability to interpret market information and develop practical marketing strategies.

· Strong organisational and time management skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively with management and external stakeholders.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
