Title: Health and Safety Advisor

Location: Kurnell, NSW, AU, 2231

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our SHEQ team and become a trusted partner to our operational leaders in Kurnell 2231. This is a predominantly field based role (80% of your time), meaning you'll be where it matters most — on site, building relationships, influencing behaviours, and driving real safety outcomes.

This isn't a tick and flick compliance role. It's a genuine opportunity to shape safety culture, mentor frontline teams, and make a measurable difference across our operations.

What you'll be responsible for

Conducting inspections, audits and walk-throughs to monitor compliance with company, client and legislative requirements
Coaching and supporting operational teams to identify, address and close out safety findings
Facilitating incident investigations and risk assessments
Delivering SHEQ training and toolbox talks
Supporting the development and maintenance of site safety management plans
Implementing drug & alcohol testing programs
Monitoring and reporting on safety performance and key risk factors
Collaborating with operations on the safe installation and use of new equipment

What you'll need to be successful

Formal qualification in OH&S or significant hands-on experience in a comparable safety role
Solid working knowledge of relevant safety legislation, including Chain of Responsibility
Demonstrated experience implementing safety management systems
