About Verdant

Verdant Horticulture and Maintenance Pty Ltd delivers high-quality residential landscape construction and premium property maintenance across the Sunshine Coast.

We’re a small professional team based in Glenview, working on well-designed homes and acreage properties across the region.

Our approach is simple: do the work properly and take pride in the result. Careful preparation, thoughtful construction and planting that is set up to establish well.

Our work is a balanced mix of landscape construction and high-quality garden maintenance, which keeps the work varied and interesting while helping us build and care for landscapes over the long term.

We enjoy the craft, take the work seriously, and still manage to have a good laugh on site most days.

The Role

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning practical skills and being part of a crew that takes pride in their work.

This role suits apprentices, emerging landscapers and experienced team members.

You’ll work across a range of projects including drainage, structural landscaping, garden construction, planting and ongoing garden care.

Some days are construction-focused. Other days involve planting, soil preparation, hedging and maintaining established gardens. The variety keeps the work practical and engaging rather than repetitive.

You’ll work with a small team delivering projects across the Sunshine Coast where the focus is always on doing the job properly and leaving the site better than we found it.

What You’ll Be Doing

Landscape construction including drainage, retaining walls and structural garden work
Garden construction and planting installation
Soil preparation and garden establishment
Garden maintenance including pruning, hedging and general garden care
Operating landscape tools and equipment
Working across a range of residential properties throughout the Sunshine Coast
Maintaining safe, organised worksites
Contributing to a team that values quality workmanship

What We’re Looking For

Interest in landscape construction and horticulture
Reliable and motivated attitude
Pride in producing quality work
Ability to work outdoors and stay physically active
Positive team mindset
Willingness to learn and develop practical skills
Driver’s licence preferred (or working towards one)

Apprentices are encouraged to apply.
Experienced landscapers and team leaders are also welcome.

Pay
