The City of Vincent is looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant Community and Business Services to provide high-level support to our Executive Director Community and Business Services and play a key role in supporting one of the City's most dynamic Directorates.

What We’re Offering

Permanent Full-Time (1 FTE)
Base salary of up to $96,988 per annum, depending on qualifications and relevant experience
5 weeks of leave every year (4 weeks annual leave & 1-week special leave), plus 2 days volunteer leave
Up to 15.5% employer superannuation contributions

As the Executive Assistant Community and Business Services, you'll be at the centre of a Directorate that delivers services and projects that make a real difference to our community. You'll work alongside passionate leaders and professionals, building strong relationships across the City while supporting strategic decision-making and business operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Director Community and Business Services, you will provide confidential, professional and proactive executive support in a fast-paced and politically sensitive environment.

You will play a key role in:

Managing executive workflows, calendars and priorities
Coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes and action follow-up
Preparing correspondence, reports, presentations and briefing material
Supporting Council agenda preparation and Council reporting processes
Managing enquiries from Councillors, residents, staff and external stakeholders
Monitoring and coordinating sensitive and time-critical matters
Providing strategic administrative support across the Directorate
Building strong relationships across the City to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Working as part of the Executive Support Hub to deliver exceptional customer service and business support outcomes

Who We’re Looking For

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

Outstanding organisational and time management skills
Experience providing executive or senior administrative support
The ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgement and manage competing priorities
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Advanced Microsoft 365 skills and a willingness to embrace and use emerging technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled tools
The ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
A professional, approachable and customer-focused attitude
Experience working in a confidential and politically sensitive environment
A current C Class Driver's Licence
Local Government experience is desirable but not essential
