At voco®, we believe great hospitality is relaxed, genuine, and delivered with confidence. We’re looking for a Bartender who loves creating memorable guest moments, takes pride in their craft, and brings positive energy to the bar.

As a Bartender, you’ll be the heart of the bar experience—mixing quality drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring every visit feels welcoming, effortless, and enjoyable.

Your Day-to-Day

You’ll help create a vibrant and inviting bar experience by:

Welcoming guests with warmth and delivering friendly, attentive service
Preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to voco quality standards
Following standard recipes to ensure consistency and presentation
Ensuring responsible service of alcohol, including checking guest identification
Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar at all times
Managing cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately in line with procedures
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory control
Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolving concerns promptly
Working collaboratively with the wider food & beverage team

What We’re Looking For

Previous bartending experience highly regarded
Sound knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
A genuine passion for customer service and hospitality
Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
RSA Victoria certification
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently behind the bar
