Full Job Description

We are looking for a casual experienced preferred medical receptionist who is able to work 10 hours per week and also have flexibility to covers sick and annual leave.

Hours: Monday and Wednesday 9am - 2pm

No weekend work

Christmas closure

You will need to be able to take initiative and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients in a friendly manner upon arrival and check them in for appointments
Scheduling patient appointments and procedures accurately
Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up to date
Respond to patient inquiries over the phone and in person
Billing and receipting all accounts through Tyro/Medicare
Assisting and set up of minor surgical procedures (further training will be provided)

Requirements:

Experience with Pracsoft and Medical Director (or similar medical software is preferred)
Experience in a medical reception field will be highly regarded
Multitasking and ability to prioritise a heavy workload
Ability to work with minimal supervision and also be an effective team member
Be empathetic, compassionate and caring towards vulnerable people
Must be friendly, approachable and reliable

This is a long term position and we are looking for someone with a great work ethic and flexibility.

On-site car parking and work shirts will be provided.

Required to start asap.
