We’re looking for a Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Officer) to join our team in a permanent full-time position, based at our North Adelaide clinic, with the flexibility to work across our other Adelaide sites as required.
You'll play an important role in delivering an exceptional experience for our patients while supporting doctors, clinicians and colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, building strong relationships across teams and making a genuine difference to the patient experience.
More specifically you will:

Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring patients feel supported throughout their treatment journey

Assisting with patient billing and payment discussions in a professional and compassionate manner

Providing administrative support to doctors and key stakeholders

Managing patient flow throughout the clinic to ensure appointments run efficiently

Handling incoming phone enquiries and responding to patient questions

Scheduling consultations and coordinating doctor clinic sessions

Supporting visiting clinicians and ensuring all clinic requirements are in place

Managing incoming correspondence, including scanning, filing and actioning documentation

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

Previous administration experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, ideally within healthcare

Knowledge of patient billing processes and Medicare funding pathways

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders

The ability to work independently while also being a valued team member

Experience using clinical administration systems and Microsoft Office programs

A flexible and adaptable approach, including the ability to work across multiple clinic locations when required
