Lead a frontline NDIS support team in Townsville
Full operational accountability across a growing NDIS service
Monthly RDO - an extra 12 days of leave per year

Service Manager — NDIS | Townsville | Kanda

You're accountable for what happens in people's lives every day — and you wouldn't have it any other way.

As a Service Manager with Kanda in Townsville, you'll lead a team of frontline support workers and set the standard for how they show up, how participants are supported, and what quality of care looks like in practice. The people we support need consistent, skilled and genuinely committed support — and your job is to make sure your team delivers it, every shift.

This is operational leadership in the truest sense — close enough to the work to see the difference you make, senior enough to shape how it's done.

What you'll be doing

Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of frontline support workers to deliver consistent, high-quality, person-centred care
Managing the operational and administrative end of the service — budgets, funding utilisation and mandatory reporting
Developing and implementing service improvement initiatives that make a measurable difference to participant outcomes
Ensuring compliance with NDIS legislation, reporting requirements and restrictive practice frameworks
Building strong, collaborative relationships with participants, families, support workers and external stakeholders
Supporting your team through complex and high-needs presentations with sound judgement and clear decision-making

You're the right person if...

You have a minimum of two years' experience in service management or team leadership within the NDIS or a related human services environment
You have strong working knowledge of NDIS legislation, funding frameworks and restrictive practice requirements
You lead people well — not just manage them — and you know the difference
You're highly organised, a sound decision-maker and calm when competing priorities hit at once
You hold a Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor in Social Work, Community Services or a related field
You hold or are willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and unrestricted Driver's Licence
