The Opportunity

As a Law Clerk joining our Disability and Superannuation Insurance practice on a permanent, full-time basis in our Brisbane office, you’ll be on the frontline as we doggedly seek justice.

This role would be a good fit for an experienced insurance claims manager ready for their next move, particularly someone looking to shift into a plaintiff law firm where they can use their experience to advocate for injured clients.

With compassion, connection and purpose, you’ll truly champion our clients by:

Progressing and resolving disability and insurance superannuation claims, including appealing declined claims.
Effectively assessing the viability of potential claims and implementing effective claim strategies.
Cultivating strong relationships with our clients through exceptional communication and clear management of expectations.
Preparing legal documentation with a high degree of detail, while running a file load with a keen level of commercial and fiscal awareness.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

The desire to work with our clients in the disability and superannuation insurance space.
Experience working in a similar claims role (like workers compensation, life insurance, or similar) would make your application competitive.
An understanding of, and ability to interpret the relevant legislation and legal documentation.
An innate ability to question, challenge the status quo and always stay ahead of the pack.
A commitment to truly connect with those around you and work together to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
