Bookkeeper Casual

Acron Pty Ltd is a Queensland family-owned business based in Sumner, Brisbane. We operate in the water and wastewater treatment and chemical supply industries and have been in business for over 20 years. Our team includes more than 20 service and management staff across SEQ and other sites throughout Queensland.

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our office administration team and assist with bookkeeping and general office duties.

The Position

This is a casual role, offering flexible working hours for the right candidate. Starting salary based on experience from $34 hr to $40 hr plus super and hours can be negotiated, with potential for the role to transition to full-time employment.

You will work closely with our Administration Manager and experienced Office Assistant and be responsible for a range of bookkeeping and accounts administration duties.

Responsibilities

· Daily bookkeeping and accounts administration

· Processing supplier invoices and delivery dockets

· Managing inward goods receipt paperwork

· Processing client invoices

· Liaising with suppliers and internal team members as required

· Providing general administrative support for bookkeeping tasks

· Handling factory delivery dockets and related paperwork

· Preparing and processing purchase orders

· Managing a low volume of phone enquiries

Personal

To be successful in this role, you will have:

· Previous experience in book-keeping, accounts administration or a similar small office role

· Reckon Accounting Software experience an advantage but not a requirement

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

· Organisational and time management skills

· Communication skills

· A proactive approach

· Continual improvement
