Full Job Description

Chef de Partie – Osteria Renata, Prahran

Osteria Renata is one of Melbourne's most-loved Italian restaurants — and we're looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

You'll take ownership of your section, work with quality seasonal produce, and contribute to a kitchen that takes its food seriously without taking itself too seriously.

What you'll be doing:

Running your section with confidence and consistency during service
Preparing and plating dishes to spec, maintaining quality at pace
Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Keeping your section clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards
Mentoring and supporting junior kitchen staff

What we're looking for:

Solid experience at CDP level or above in a quality, high-volume kitchen
A genuine passion for Italian food and produce-driven cooking
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example
Strong communication and the ability to work well within a close-knit team
