Chef de Partie – Osteria Renata, Prahran
Osteria Renata is one of Melbourne's most-loved Italian restaurants — and we're looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
You'll take ownership of your section, work with quality seasonal produce, and contribute to a kitchen that takes its food seriously without taking itself too seriously.
What you'll be doing:
- Running your section with confidence and consistency during service
- Preparing and plating dishes to spec, maintaining quality at pace
- Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Keeping your section clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards
- Mentoring and supporting junior kitchen staff
What we're looking for:
- Solid experience at CDP level or above in a quality, high-volume kitchen
- A genuine passion for Italian food and produce-driven cooking
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example
- Strong communication and the ability to work well within a close-knit team
