Perth location with WFH flexibility

About the role:

As a Training Coordinator, you will assume a critical member-facing role in facilitating the effective delivery of the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program within your designated local region, Western Australia.
Your role is central to connecting our stakeholders with the systems, people, and information they need. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for registrars, supervisors, and training sites, fostering strong stakeholder relationships and providing expert guidance throughout every stage of the training journey.

You will report to the Training Coordination Team Leader, working closely with GP Medical Educators, Program Support Officers, regional and national teams to uphold compliance, quality, and excellence in service delivery.

As our Training Coordinator, you'll also:

Develop strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, training sites, and internal teams.
Coordinate registrar placements and training activities in line with program requirements and community needs.
Monitor and support training progress, ensuring accurate data management and compliance with policies.
Lead and deliver key regional activities, including accreditation site visits, presenting at educational events, and providing training advice.
Contribute to a high – performing team that promotes inclusivity, continuous improvement, and collaborative problem solving

Skills & Experience:

Strong coordination and planning skills
Proven experience in stakeholder management
Clear, confident written and verbal communication
Ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse teams
Experience in health, education or training coordination settings
Tertiary qualification in relevant area is desirable
