Due to continued business growth and the ongoing expansion of our operations, we are seeking an experienced Corporate General Manager to provide senior corporate leadership, oversee the company's overall operations and performance, and lead the implementation of its strategic, commercial and operational objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the organisation, working closely with the Directors and senior management personnel to ensure the effective coordination of the company's major functions, resources and business activities.

Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement the company's strategic and operational plans, policies and business objectives, setting organisational standards and priorities to achieve overall corporate goals, sustainable growth and long-term success in the Australian mining and industrial services industry.
· Plan, organise, direct, control and review the day-to-day operations and major functions of the company, ensuring effective coordination and performance across the organisation, including conveyor belt maintenance, repair, replacement and splicing, conveyor reliability and wear management services, engineering consulting, design, drafting, equipment maintenance and related mining and industrial services.
· Oversee the implementation of business strategies and operational policies, providing leadership and direction across key organisational functions, assessing changing business, market and operational circumstances and making timely strategic and operational decisions to achieve corporate objectives, enhance organisational efficiency and support sustainable profitability.
· Manage relationships with mining clients, suppliers, contractors and key stakeholders, representing the company in commercial negotiations, tender processes and contractual matters, and identifying new business opportunities to expand the company's client base, service offerings and market presence across the mining, engineering and industrial services sectors.
· Monitor and oversee the company's financial performance, budgets and profitability, oversee the allocation of funding and organisational resources for major business initiatives and approved programs, and prepare or arrange the preparation of financial reports, budgets and forecasts for presentation to the Directors, ensuring effective financial management and sustainable business growth.
· Consult with management teams, departmental heads and relevant senior personnel on matters including methods of operation, equipment and resource requirements, engineering and maintenance services, project delivery, finance, sales, human resources and client requirements, coordinating key business functions to support effective organisational performance.
· Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, work health and safety requirements, applicable industry standards, contractual obligations and company policies, while maintaining effective organisational governance, risk management and continuous improvement across quality, safety, service delivery and operational efficiency.
· Lead, select, mentor and develop management and operational teams, oversee the performance of senior staff and provide direction to employees, contractors and management teams, promoting effective leadership, workforce development and high performance across the organisation.
· Oversee workforce planning, equipment and resource allocation across the company's major functions, including the coordination of direct employees and specialist contractors and subcontractors, ensuring effective utilisation of organisational resources, appropriate operational capacity and the timely and efficient delivery of business and client requirements.
· Report directly to the Directors on the company's overall business performance, financial results, budgets and forecasts, strategic initiatives, key business risks and operational outcomes, and provide high-level recommendations on matters affecting the company's overall performance, strategic direction, organisational development and future growth.
Essential Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications combined with substantial relevant industry experience.
· Minimum 10 years' senior management experience, preferably within the mining, engineering, heavy industry or industrial services sectors.
· Demonstrated experience in corporate-level strategic and operational management, with responsibility for multiple business functions and organisational performance.
· Strong commercial and financial management skills, including experience in budgeting, financial performance monitoring, resource allocation and business planning.
· Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary management and operational teams.
· Strong commercial negotiation, stakeholder management and business development capabilities.
· Excellent communication, leadership, decision-making and organisational management skills.
· Sound understanding of WHS legislation, regulatory compliance, operational risk management and organisational governance.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives and operational plans to support sustainable business growth and profitability.
