The Role

The Head of IT Delivery & Strategy leads CBH’s technology delivery, strategy and portfolio governance activities to deliver practical, scalable and commercially sound outcomes across the business. The role is responsible for shaping priorities, overseeing complex enterprise initiatives, leading the IT Strategy & Planning team, and ensuring technology investment is aligned to strategic value, operational needs, risk and return.

Responsibilities include:

Guide the development and evolution of CBH’s Technology Strategy and roadmap, setting clear priorities aligned to business needs
Lead a connected, enterprise-wide approach to the technology portfolio, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, coordinated and aligned to value, risk and cost
Maintain a clear and shared view of the portfolio, including dependencies, to support thoughtful decision-making and alignment across the business
Support strong and consistent delivery across the portfolio, with oversight of performance, outcomes, business readiness, adoption and post implementation review
Shape portfolio and strategy decisions that support a coherent enterprise architecture and practical, scalable and sustainable solutions
Foster alignment between strategy, governance and execution, while exploring emerging technologies that support future capability and enterprise outcomes

About You:

Tertiary qualification in information technology, engineering or a related discipline, supported by significant experience in senior technology leadership roles
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop capable, engaged teams and translate strategic direction into clear priorities
Strong ability to connect business and technology strategy to practical delivery outcomes, including roadmap development, prioritisation and investment decisions
Proven experience delivering complex IT and transformation initiatives in large organisations, with a focus on change, business readiness and sustainable outcomes
Well-developed commercial judgement, problem-solving and critical thinking, with the ability to navigate complex technical, operational and business decisions
Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, governance and enterprise risk, including trusted relationship building across delivery, cyber, data security and compliance
