Our core capabilities include the supply and installation of aluminium windows and doors, curtain wall systems, shopfront glazing, frameless glass installations, and customised architectural glazing solutions.
We are expanding our team of capable, detail-oriented professionals who take pride in their work—and we’re looking for another estimator to join us.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Windows & Doors Estimator / scheduler with strong V6 (Soft Tech) experience to take ownership of jobs in our estimating and quoting team.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for producing accurate, well-considered quotes and helping secure the right projects—not just more projects.
You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and our internal team from tender stage through to handover, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professionalism at every step.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret construction drawings and understand buildability and installation requirements
- Complete material take-offs from architectural drawings, schedules and specifications
- Prepare detailed estimates and quotations for windows, doors and glazing projects.
- Use V6 estimating software to produce accurate pricing and documentation
- Develop clear scopes of work to ensure all project elements are captured
- Liaise with builders, architects, suppliers and internal teams
- Support projects from tender through to production and handover
- Identify risks, variations, and opportunities within project scopes
About You
You’re not just pricing jobs—you understand how windows and doors are built, installed, and delivered on-site.
You value accuracy, take ownership of your work, and care more about getting it right than rushing it out.
Essential:
- Proven experience estimating windows and doors (commercial preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of V6 (Soft Tech)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and window/door schedules
- Solid understanding of glazing systems, materials and construction methods
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident communicating with builders, architects and clients
Highly Regarded:
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and energy compliance requirements
- Understanding of installation methods, site constraints, and safety requirements (WHS, access, lifting, etc.)
- Experience across façade or architectural glazing projects
- Background in production, fabrication or project coordination
