The Role

Our Water Infrastructure team is looking for a talented Senior Civil Designer to design, coordinate and take the lead on project delivery for various Water Infrastructure projects both locally and nationally.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary water team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of major capital projects and facility upgrades that support both local and ANZ-wide initiatives. Our team works across the full water cycle, delivering impactful projects such as:

Major pipelines
Large pumping stations
Advanced water, wastewater, and recycling treatment plants

With a minimum of 7 years' experience in a hands-on capacity, you will play a key role in:

Concept design and delivery of water infrastructure projects using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
Build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally and contribute to effective client relationship management
Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and co-ordination of project deliverables

About You

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Advanced Diploma
7+ years industry experience working with an engineering design consultancy
Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
Water infrastructure project experience (desirable)
Knowledge of relevant Australian design standards and local regulations
Relevant working rights
