About the Role
CJC Management is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support major rail infrastructure projects across Australia. This role sits within a client-side advisory and project delivery environment, working with government agencies, operators, contractors, designers and delivery partners. The role is suited to a senior rail professional with strong project delivery, stakeholder management, governance and constructability experience. You will support clients through planning, procurement, design development, delivery, commissioning and handover. This role can be based in Sydney or Brisbane and may involve travel depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Lead project management and advisory services across major rail infrastructure projects.

Manage project scope, programme, budget, risk, governance and reporting requirements.

Support clients through planning, procurement, design, delivery and handover stages.

Coordinate stakeholders across government, operators, contractors, designers and consultants.

Lead constructability reviews, delivery planning and staging input.

Manage project controls, reporting, risk registers and board or client reporting packs.

Support procurement strategy, tender evaluation and contract administration.

Provide leadership across safety, quality, programme and stakeholder outcomes.

Mentor mid-level project managers and support team capability.

Contribute to client relationships, bids and business development activity.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.

Relevant professional accreditation advantageous, including AIPM, Engineers Australia or equivalent.

10+ years’ experience in rail infrastructure, transport or major project delivery.

Strong client-side, consultancy or advisory background preferred.

Experience across planning, procurement, design management, construction or commissioning.

Strong understanding of rail systems, civil works, staging, access and operational interfaces.

Strong stakeholder management capability.

Experience working with government clients, operators or major infrastructure authorities.

Strong commercial, programme and risk management capability.

Confident leading meetings, preparing reports and advising senior stakeholders.
